`enable_dl` is certainly not useful for the Apache module version of PHP, since `dl()` is removed from that SAPI as of PHP 5.3.0. I'm not sure about the `&removed.php.future;` in the summary table. Is `enable_dl` indeed deprecated and will certainly be removed in the future, or is that out-dated info which referred to certain SAPIs?
