  Tidy is currently available for PHP 4.3.x and PHP 5 as a PECL
  extension from

  system you can use the pear installer to install the tidy extension, by the
  following command: <command>pecl install tidy</command>.

  You can always download the <filename>tar.gz</filename> package and install tidy by hand:
