The PHP MongoDB extension provides Stream Context Support using the mongodb context. A stream context must be created with stream_context_create and passed to the MongoClient::__construct before the actual connection to MongoDB is made. It is not possible to apply a stream context to already created streams. Additional context options and parameters, such as ssl and notification parameters, are also supported. The MongoDB context options provide a rich interface to log network traffic between the driver and the MongoDB servers.
