     a valid parser.  For unsuccessful parses, error information can
     be retrieved with <function>xml_get_error_code</function>,
     <function>xml_error_string</function>,
     <function>xml_get_current_line_number</function>,
     <function>xml_get_current_column_number</function> and
     <function>xml_get_current_byte_index</function>.
